Contemporary social dynamics marked by rising intolerance, identity polarization, and the erosion of empathy and social concern demand a reorientation of Islamic education practices beyond the mere transmission of religious knowledge toward the internalization of humanitarian values. This study aims to develop Islamic Education learning tools based on the Curriculum of Love, emphasizing compassion, tolerance, and religious moderation, and to examine their feasibility and relevance for instructional practice. Employing a qualitative approach with a Research and Development (R&D) method, this study is grounded in an extensive literature review and expert validation involving Islamic education and curriculum specialists. Data were collected through literature analysis, documentation of the developed learning tools, expert validation instruments, and limited interviews to obtain substantive feedback. The findings indicate that the developed learning tools exhibit humanistic, inclusive, and contextual characteristics, with well-aligned objectives, materials, pedagogical strategies, and assessment components consistent with the principles of the Curriculum of Love and religious moderation. Expert validation results demonstrate a high level of feasibility and strong relevance to contemporary Islamic education needs. This study contributes both conceptually and practically to the development of Islamic Education learning tools oriented toward nurturing empathetic and moderate learners and offers important implications for curriculum development and pedagogical practices responsive to pluralistic social challenges.
